African Billionaire Interested In Buying Sheffield United For £90 Million

A £90 million takeover of an English club is reportedly just a few steps away from being completed by an African billionaire.

Daily Mail reports that an unknown African businessman is close to buying English Championship team Sheffield United in a transaction estimated to be worth £90 million.

Sheffield United will be unable to sign new players for the next 18 months after failing to meet signing payment instalments.

According to the Daily Mail, an unnamed African millionaire has made a £90 million buyout approach for Sheffield United.

The prospective party wishes to buy the club from its present Saudi owner, Prince Abdullah.

Last year, American Henry Mauriss was on the verge of purchasing the club, but the deal fell through after he failed the EFL’s test.

The latest African bid, on the other hand, is considered as far more practical.

The financial stability of Sheffield United will determine whether they are compelled to sell important players.
