After six weeks, the jury awarded Depp $15 million in damages, which was later lowered to $10.35 million to comply with Virginia’s damage restrictions, while Heard received $2 million.

Bredehoft has claimed that Heard would seek an appeal in the case since the trial’s end and that she does not have the funds to pay for the damages or the bail. The team will have 21 days to file an appeal.

Meanwhile, Depp is also standing trial on July 25 for a battery and assault complaint filed in 2018 against a crew member from the production of “City of Lies.”
