Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox testified against his father Brad Pitt during the couple’s contentious divorce and custody battle.
According to US Weekly, the 19-year-old college student has already given testimony as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute, the news outlet added that Maddox’s testimony ‘wasn’t very flattering toward Brad.’
The insider went on to note that the couple’s eldest son wants to drop his father’s last name.
“He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie,” the source explained.
“Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support.”
Angelina Jolie, on March 12, filed new court documents, which she accuse Pitt, 57, of domestic violence. The papers state that the actress is willing to offer “proof and authority in support” of the claims during her two-year marriage to Pitt.
It was revealed that Brad was being investigated after his divorce by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, however, was cleared.
The organization “cleared him of any child abuse allegations almost immediately,” an insider explained to Us. “The case remained open out of an abundance of caution because the department took the matter seriously, and in the almost two years of monitored visitation, there was not one instance that caused any alarm bells to go off.”
