The long-awaited sequel to James Cameron’s breakthrough epic, Avatar: The Way of Water, is here, and it’s surprisingly hot.
After being adopted into the Na’vi tribe and forgiven for his human spying, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) sided with the aliens in their fight to save Pandora in the first Avatar.
Following more than a decade since the 2009 blockbuster, the trailer “tells the story of Jake, Neytiri, and their kids (Jake and Neytiri), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure,” according to the official synopsis.
Once again, the film has actors such as Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang, but it also includes actors such as Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore CCH Pounder Edie Falco, and Jemaine Clement as well as Kate Winslet. It premieres on December 16, 2022.
