Hairdressers in China found a creative solution to protect themselves in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak. The barbers used tools attached to the end of long sticks to style their customer’s hair in order to avoid physical contact with them.
Footage captured the moment two hairstylists providing the “long-distance haircuts” in the southern city of Luzhou in Sichuan province, reports the New York Post.
In the clip, the hairdressers can be seen wearing protective masks while using poles with brushes, shavers, and hairdryers attached to them.

For customers to safer, salon owners reportedly coming up with the idea. The Chinese health officials have advised citizens to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters (4.92 feet) away from one another in public.
