The National Examinations Council (NECO) registrar, Godswill Obioma, has reportedly gunned down by Gunmen at his residence. in the Niger State capital.
Punch reported that Obioma was killed by gunmen, suspected to be assassins in his Minna residence, the Niger State capital.
67-year-old Obioma from Abia State was appointed as the Registrar of NECO on the 22nd of May 2020 by President Muhammadu Buhari.
His died came fews days after the murder of Adamawa-born politician and ex-presidential aide, Ahmed Gulak.
The deceased’s widow, Mrs Elizabeth Obioma, told reporters that “the assassins came in and killed him and left without taking anything.”
A police spokesperson did not immediately return requests for comments.
