President Muhammadu Buhari said the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) by gunmen would rather hasten the process of ridding the country of all sorts of criminal elements.
On Thursday, two officers dead after a group of unknown arm men attack the institution and abducted another.
reacting to the incident, Buhari through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said rather than dampen their morale, the incident will buoy them to put an end to criminality.
He noted that the attack came at a time when the Armed Forces were gaining the upper hand on criminals across the country.
Adding that the victims of the NDA attack won’t die in vain and that the action of the terrorists will ‘accelerate the total uprooting of evil in the shortest possible time’.
The president also commiserated with the families of those who were killed in the attack.
He also thanks Nigerians who value and appreciate the efforts of our military, also called others to appreciate the valiant efforts of the military and unite to battle ‘against wickedness in the land’.
