‘Chucky’ series to return to the screen, check out trailer teases of the killer doll

A new teaser clip for the new Chucky TV series has dropped, which hints at the return of the killer doll.

Chucky comes from creator Don Mancini and Channel Zero creator Nick Antosca, with Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly both returning to the franchise.

In a tweet posted on Syfy’s official Twitter account, the killer doll can be seen on a table being built piece by piece, a voice could be heard saying “I always come back.”

Chucky comes from creator Don Mancini, the original creator of Child’s Play, according to collider report, he is set to direct at least the first episode, titled “Death By Misadventure.”

Meanwhile Lexa Doig, who played Talia al Ghul in Arrow recently joined the cast members on the series.

She will play Bree Webber, wife of Logan (Devon Sawa), “who’s held to an unrealistic standard both by herself and by her husband, which leads her to keep a dark secret from her family”.

Barbara Alyn Woods (One Tree Hill) also recently joined the cast as Mayor Michelle Cross, whose daughter Lexy in the show is played by her real-life daughter, Alyvia Alyn Lind.
