Coronavirus cases in Nigeria Jump to 318, as death Rise to 10

The number of coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 318 on Saturday, an increase of 13 new cases has been reported, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

In a tweet, the agencies, report that the new cases are 11 in Lagos, 1 in Delta & 1 in Kano.

According to the official data by NCDC, the death toll due to the COVID-19 climbed to 10.

Besides the increase in numbers of positive cases, reports of steady recoveries have given a sigh of relief to citizens across the country. As per the Ministry of Health and NCDC, 70 people have been cured and discharged so far.

Meanwhile, in other news, that the federal government has hinted that it may extend the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun state to contain the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
