The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said 14 new cases of coronavirus was reported on Thursday, the highest in Nigeria in a single day, with the total number of infections rising to 65.
According to the agency, six were detected on a vessel, 3 were returning travelers into Nigeria and was a close contact of a confirmed case.
In a tweet, NCDC on March 26, disclosed that 12 of the new cases were detected in Lagos, while two were confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
