Nigeria on Friday recorded a stunning spike of 238 coronavirus positive cases, taking the state’s overall COVID-19 tally to 2170. 10 fresh deaths were also recorded in the country, taking its death toll to 68.

Also, thus far, a total of 351 patients have been cured in the country, which is the worst-hit COVID-19 state in the country.
Kano, for the second time in a row, recorded a high number of cases with 92 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 32 new cases, Lagos which has been a hotspot in the country has 30 new cases, 16 in Gombe, 10 in Bauchi.
Delta recorded 8 new cases, 6 in Oyo, Zamfara, and Sokoto have 5 of New infections, while Ondo and Nasarawa has 4 new cases each, Kwara, Edo, Ekiti, Borno,Yobe shared 15new cases, followed by Adamawa with 2 cases,while Niger, Imo, Ebonyi confrimed 1 new case each.
Lagos State, the country’s financial capital, now has 1006 confirmed cases, It is the worst-affected state in the country.
