Nigeria’s tally of coronavirus has reached 28167, while the death toll rose to 634 with six new fatalities, according to the Nigeria center for disease control. on Saturday, the country had recorded 603 new cases in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Lagos remained the worst pandemic hit-state in the country. The state has recorded 135 new cases while it has a total of 11045 confirmed cases, Edo is on the second spot with 87 new cases, of which, the state now has 1353 confirmed cases.
As the reported of new confirmed cases in the last 24 hours continues, 73 are from Abuja, 67 from Rivers, 62 from Delta, 47 from Ogun, 20 from Kaduna, 19 from plateau while Osun and Ondo registered 17, 16 cases respectively.
15 each from Enugu and Oyo, 13 from Borno, six from Niger, four from Nasarawa, three from Kebbi, two from Kano, one each from Sokoto and Abia state.
