The death toll due to the novel coronavirus rose to 13, with 1 death reported on Thursday, while the number of cases saw an increase of 35 new cases on Thursday, putting the country with a total of 442, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 277 while as many as 152 people have been cured and discharged.
Thirty-five new cases that were reported 16th, April, of which the highest case (19) were reported from Lagos, 9 from the Federal capital territory, five from Kano, and two from Oyo state.
