Bbnaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu took to his Instagram story to tag Nigerian most popular local dish Egusi Soup as thrash.
Egusi Soup is a local dish consumed by mostly the igbo tribe from Nigeria. Prepared with mashed melon and other delicacies like kpomo, dried fish, beef etc and served alongside eba, Fufu, semovita or pounded yam. The sweet aroma and pleasing looks of the dish is enough to get anyone salivating. However, the BbNaija presenter seems not to be interested in what the dish has to offer.
He took to his Instagram page to share his distaste for the soup. He posted an aesthetically pleasing picture of Semo and Egusi which read; ‘How to eat semo and egusi soup’ and then wrote, ‘EGUSI. TRASH’, accompanied with a vomit emoji.
