Erigga expresses mixed feelings about people’s expectations for 2021
Nigerian popular rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie better known by his stage name Erigga has mocked people’s hopes of expecting a different turn out of events in the incoming year 2021.
The year 2020 had been a very tough year according to Nigerians. The effects of the global pandemic coronavirus coupled with the subsequent lockdown and Endsars protests led to the crippling of the country’s economic activities thereby making the year unproductive for many Nigerians.
The social media went abuzz in the early hours of today, with so many users expressing gratitude for making it to the last day of 2020, while expecting things to go back to normal from the next year.
Erigga took to twitter to warn people not to feel relieved for witnessing the end of the year. He critically explained that the situation of things in the country won’t automatically change overnight with the new year.
