Supporters of Spanish based football club FC Barcelona has clamored to face Bayern Munich again in the last round of 16 of the UEFA champions league.
FC Barcelona was completely overpowered by the German club in their last meeting, falling behind to a humiliating 8:2 to the Bundesliga champions in the quarter-finals before ending the 2019/2020 season trophyless, extending their losing streak to Bayern by 6 matches.
FC Barcelona has managed to snatch the victory only twice over Bayern Munich in their previous nine clashes, drawing once at Munich in 2009 and handing the rest of the clash’s victory to Bayern Munich.
The Catalan giant’s supporters demand that both clubs meet again during the round of 16 on the current champions league title race, some fans confidently feel that FC Barcelona team is back in its full form to retaliate last season’s humiliation. Some fans argue that the Blaugranas are capable of recording a significant win over the German team to add to it’s UCL history.
