The Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Kayamo, has exposed singer Eedris Abdulkareem, revealing how he was eager to join President Buhari’s camp for a price in 2018 and how he begged for N1.3 million.
In a series of tweets, Keyamo Who was then Director of Strategic Communications for Buhari’s campaign revealed how Eedris in 2018 approached him to do a song for President Buhari’s campaign and wanted to join his camp for a fee.
A line from Eedris’s new song goes, ” where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal o.” Replying to the line, Keyamo chose to tell the story of the singer’s “poor attempt at blackmail.” He even shows the text message sent by Eedris.

He also reveals how Eedris switched to another angle, saying that he wanted to pay a loan for his hotel bills to the tune of N1.3 million and to take care of his sick mum. The total expense was running into more than N3 million.
Keyamo says that the new Jagajaga reloaded was an attempt to vent his frustrations at them for not getting into the system.
