Happen Now: Man jumps into Lagos lagoon from Third Mainland bridge

Rescuers are currently searching for a man who jumped into the lagoon this morning, Saturday, February 15

A report by The Nation indicates that an unidentified man has jumped into the Lagos lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge.

The man reportedly abandoned his car with his driver on the bridge and plunged into the lagoon

At the time of the report, the man has not been found and further details are being awaited

Last year, operatives of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) averted a tragedy on Tuesday, October 15 when they rescued a middle-aged man, Desmond Abraham, who wanted to kill himself by jumping into Lagos Lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge.
