American television talk show host Steve Harvey gives in to his daughter’s relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan and has revealed how his efforts to fault the relationship have been futile.
The 64-year-old presenter, while appearing on a new episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Family Feud host reveals his thoughts about Michael B. Jordan dating his Lori Harvey.
“You know, I have tried not to like him,” Steve jokingly says to Ellen DeGeneres. “I have tried to find something wrong with him that I could dig in and go. ‘Cause I done got rid of all of them. All of them.
“Some of them that snuck in the back door on me and lasted a lot longer than I wanted it to.”
Though the Family Feud host didn’t specify which of his daughter’s exes he didn’t like, however, said that Jordan is one boyfriend he actually approves of.
Speaking further, Harvey had nothing but nice things to say about the Creed star, who he says is ‘such a good guy.’
“This guy is such a good guy. He is one of the nicest guys, man. I’ve met his father. I’ve set up with him, we’ve talked for hours.
“I just can’t find anything wrong with him. Between you and me, I’m hoping this lasts ’cause this is a really, really good guy, man.”
He joked, “I can’t whoop him. Most guys, I say I can jump on them and take them out. But he just looks like a real ass-whooping in the making. So, I’m just hoping they make it.”
The dating rumors revolving around Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey first began to fly late last year when they were both spotted traveling together on November 25, 2020.
They went public with their relationship in early January after their photo on Instagram caused a major stir.
