A young lady named Laura gaga has pointed accusing fingers on United Bank of Africa (UBA) of being responsible for the disappearance of N400,000 from her bank account.
Miss Laura narrated on her twitter page how she arrived at UBA with her younger brother to assist him in creating a new account. According to her story, the bank has requested for a proxy Bank Verification Number (BVN) for backup purposes, which she volunteered hers.
After she tendered her BVN, Miss Laura claimed that all the money in her Zenith bank account amounting to N400,000 was transferred through an anonymous source. She blamed the bank for being accessory to the theft of her money.
Miss Laura took to twitter to lay complaints to the UBA twitter account with the screenshots of all the transactions which seems to reveal that the money was siphoned through an unidentified sporty bet account. She blamed Zenith bank for gross incompetence for allowing her money to be transferred without sending her an OTP for authorization.
Taking her actions further, Miss Laura sought the help of her followers to assist in tagging the UBA twitter account in order to draw their attention for a possible reversal of her money.
