Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi says he is having a good time in his second season at the Parc des Princes, but he admits that his first season after moving from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain was not as enjoyable.
Last season, Messi only managed to score six goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG, out of a total of eleven in all competitions. This season, he has had a much better start with six goals in only 11 games.
“I feel good, different from last year and I knew it was going to be like that. Last year, as I’ve already said, I had a bad time, I never finished finding myself but this year is different,” Messi told TyC Sports.
“I’ve arrived with a different head, more accommodated to the club, to the dressing room, to the game, to my teammates. The truth is I feel very good and I’m enjoying myself again.”
The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner maintained his form on the international stage, scoring two goals and assisting as Argentina trounced Honduras 3-0 on Saturday.
