A young man threw a challenge to Spanish football giants Fc Barcelona to bring the whole squad to play against his group of friends, vowing to beat the Blaugranas in grand style.
Barcelona football club once again lost their last La Liga game against Athletico Madrid on Saturday by a lone goal. The defeat didn’t come as a surprise to fans who expressed obvious disappointment in the lack of the team to regain it’s form to it’s glory days. The loss placed the club at the 10th position in the league table trailing 12 points behind the table leaders Real Sociedad.
The consecutive loss of key matches which contributed to the loss of confidence from the club’s fans attracted widespread criticisms as well, with the latest mockery coming from a Nigerian young man who challenged the Club to a match, vowing to humiliate the Spanish club with a team formed by selecting random boys in his neighborhood. The young man promised to teach the club the basics of football after defeating them in a friendly game.
Fc Barcelona is yet to respond to the proposal.
