A Brazilian mother has been condemned to 25 years in prison for murdering her gay child.
The lady whose name has been given as Tatiana Ferreira Lozano Pereira was as of recently condemned to 25 years and eight months in jail for killing her 17-year-old child Itaberli Lozano after hired gunmen she sent to kill him in December 2016, fail to carry out the job.
Prosecutors said Pereira employed two thugs, Victor Roberto da Silva and Miller da Silva Barissa, to kill the teen. The pair purportedly beat up the kid after his mother effectively lured him back home on claims she might want to reconcile.
However, when the men refused to carry out the job, she went on to stab him to death, Out Magazine detailed.
Pereira conceded that she murdered her child during trial since he had threatened her life.
Lozano’s paternal uncle Dario Rosa disclosed to Brazilian TV station EPTV that Lozano was a respectful youth but could never get his mother’s love as a result of his sexuality.
“He had a job, he was very polite, [and] he never quarrelled with anyone,” his uncle, Dario Rosa, told police. “He only had problems with his mother, who did not accept that he was a homosexual.”
A jury sentenced the mother to 25 years and eight months in prison in connection with the teenager’s passing. While the two men, Victor Roberto da Silva and Miller da Silva Barissa, will each serve 21 years and eight months in prison.
