Cases of COVID-19 have jumped to 1182, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said in an update on Saturday. About 87 new cases of the virus and 2 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
In the new NCDC update, Lagos state has 33 infection cases while Borno followed with 18 cases, 12 in Osun, Katsina follows with 9 cases.
Kano and Ekiti have 4 of New infections, followed by Edo and Bauchi with 3 cases each.
Imo state joins the list of states with the deadly virus with One confirmed case, also on today’s update NCDC announced 14 patients where discharge putting the country with 222 discharge cases.
According to the official figures, Lagos continued to remain on the top with 689 confirmed cases of the virus, FCT was second with 138 cases Next in line was Kano with about 77 infections, Ogun followed with 35 cases.
