Nigeria has confirmed 381 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, raising the overall tally to 3526, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) report said on Thursday.
The death toll from the pandemic increased to 107 as the country record 4 death, while 601 people have recovered, including 67 over the last 24 hours, the twitter update says.
Lagos, the country’s worst-hit state, saw its overall numbers spike to 1491, with 183 new cases confirmed in the past 24 hours.
The number of coronavirus cases in kano increase to 482, including 55 new cases recorded, followed by Jigawa with 44 new cases, while Zamfara and Bauchi recorded 19 new cases each.
Eleven of the new cases were confirmed in Katsina, while Borno recorded 9, followed by Kwara with 8 new cases, and Kaduna with 7 new cases.
Gombe and Ogun recorded six and five cases respectively, followed by Sokoto with four, while Oyo and Rivers recorded three cases each.
Two new cases were also announced in Niger state and Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Plateau registered One new case each.
Following the figure announced by the NCDC, Nigeria Have 2818 active cases.
