Nigeria registered cases of #COVID-19 on Monday with 229 new infections, reported in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s tally to 8068, while the death toll rose to 233, according to the Nigeria centre for disease control (NCDC).
Of the 229 cases reported, 90 were from Lagos, 27 from Katsina, 26 from Imo, 23 in Kano, 14 from FCT, 12 from Plateau, Nine from Ogun, while seven in Delta.
The NCDC also confirmed five each from Borno and rivers, four from Oyo, three in Gombe, two from Osun and one each from Anambra and Bayelsa.
