Gospel music legend Kirk Franklin took to twitter to publicly counter the teachings of world’s renowned preacher, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy. The multiple Grammy recipient shared his opinion on the subject of “Perfection”, claiming it’s impossible to attain.
The Head pastor of Christ Embassy church had declared the year 2020 a year of Perfection during the New year’s Eve service livestream in Oregun, Lagos. Subsequently, teaching his followers on the principles of perfection and how to achieve it.
Contrary to his views, Kirk Franklin contrasted the words of the highly respected preacher, debunking his teachings and concluding that perfection does not exist.
Kirk Franklin is currently nominated on 4 different categories on the much anticipated DOVE AWARDS 2020. He is on the race for the Gospel artiste of the year, Song of the year (Love theory), Songwriter of the year, and Contemporary album of the year (Long live love) awards.
