After suffering a fresh injury, Pogba is unlikely to play again this season, suggesting that the Frenchman has played his final game in a United shirt.
Ralf Rangnick has stated that Pogba probably won’t be back from injury in time to play for Manchester United one last time.
“With his scan, it is very unlikely he will play until the end of the season again,” the coach said.
“The doctor told me it will take four weeks minimum for him to recover and the last game is the end of May. I don’t think it’s very likely he will play again.”
With his contract expiring in the summer, Pogba is about to become a free agent and he is unlikely to sign a new deal with the club.
According to The Mirror, Pogba has informed his teammates that he will be leaving at the end of the season. On top of that, he’s also left the squad’s WhatsApp group.
It’s unclear where he and his agent, Mino Raiola, will end up, however, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a bid for the Frenchman.
