French Ligue 1 giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has completed all formalities in signing Sergio Ramos for two years. Ramos will bid farewell to Real Madrid after 16 years of adventure.
The 36-year-old Spanish defender signed the official contract after his last talks with the French giant in Paris, where he came with his family. Stating that he is happy to join PSG, Ramos will wear the number 4 jersey.
“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain, Sergio Ramos said after signing his contract. This is a big change in my life, a new challenge and it’s a day I will never forget.
“I am very proud to be a part of this ambitious project, to be a part of this squad with so many great players. Paris Saint-Germain is a club that has already proven itself at the highest level. I want to continue to grow and improve at Paris and help the team to win as many trophies as possible.”
The legendary player, who could not get positive results from the contract renewal negotiations with Real Madrid, was not included in the EURO 2020 squad by the Spain National Team.
PSG has signed Achraf Hakimi and Gigi Wijnaldum for this season. In addition, EURO 2020 is expected to end for the official announcement of Gianluigi Donnarumma, the net guard of the Italy National Team, who is in his possession.
