Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing West Ham’s Issa Diop this summer.
Manchester United might renew their interest in Diop, according to Foot Mercato. The defender could have joined United in 2019, but United instead chose to sign Harry Maguire.
The Frenchman has been on Manchester United’s radar for a few years, and Jose Mourinho praised West Ham’s recruiting team for discovering him in 2018.
He is being considered again at Old Trafford ahead of the summer transfer window, as the club looks to add another center-back.
Diop hasn’t been a regular for West Ham, having made only 13 appearances for the club this season in the Premier League.
🚨 Monaco, Lyon and Manchester United have all expressed an interest in signing Issa Diop from West Ham in the summer transfer window.

In France, he has admirers as well, with teams like Monaco and Lyon interested in signing him.
If Diop decides to leave West Ham in the summer, he will most likely prefer playing time above club glory.
