Ronaldo’s next move, almost done

Reports suggest that Cristiano Ronaldo is close to finalizing his transfer to a Middle Eastern club with massive pay.

In recent weeks, rumors have circulated that the Portuguese attacker will be joining the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr. In November, it was reported that the 37-year-old had agreed to a wage in the Middle East that would make him the highest-paid player in history.

The free agent was rumored to have signed a two-and-a-half-year agreement with Al Nassr worth £172.9 million each season.

Marca reports that the 37-year-old is close to signing with the Saudi club and will therefore remain on the continent when the World Cup in Qatar concludes.

From what we can gather, Ronaldo will join the club after the new year.

Ever since the forward was suddenly released by Manchester United in November, rumors have circulated that Al-Nassr is the most interested club in signing him.

Reports surfaced that another Saudi team, Al-Hilal, was prepared to make a substantial rival offer for his talents, but it appears that Al Nassr has won the race for his signing.
