Sandra Bullock recently revealed her dismay that Keanu Reeves never asked her out on a date after they both starred in the $350.4 million worldwide grossing hit “Speed”.

While filming the 1994 film, the two actors openly admitted to having feelings for each other. They never dated despite their evident attraction to one another. Bullock was disappointed that Reeves had not followed through on their prior cooperative endeavor.

Bullock believed that their time together on the Speed set would help them grow closer, according to a source close to the actress. They’ve remained friends throughout the years, but Bullock has made no secret of her desire for further romantic engagement.

The actress allegedly assumed Reeves’ time with her on the set of Speed would be the ideal opportunity for him to ask her out, but that never happened. Sandra Bullock has been vocal about her admiration and fondness for Keanu Reeves.

They share a close bond, and in an interview with Esquire, she acknowledged her adoration for him.

“Keanu’s a guy who, I feel like, is friends with every woman he’s ever dated. I don’t think there’s anyone who has something horrible to say about him. So maybe we could have survived.

“I don’t know. But we didn’t have to survive anything. We just get to grow up together on parallel roads and tip our hats and meet for a dinner and try to work together. And the longer time goes on, the more in awe I am of the human being. Would I have been able to say that if he had dumped me and made me angry? Probably not.”

Bullock has always had feelings for Reeves and hopes that he would have pursued anything more than simply a friendship with her, as was revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. There was “just something about me that I guess he didn’t like,” she said in the interview.

“I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome he was.”

I found it challenging to be completely serious. I would be like [giggles] when he would look at me. “There’s just something about me that I guess he didn’t like.”

Fans of the two Hollywood stars, who have enjoyed success in the industry for many years, have long fantasized about seeing them together.
Despite recurrent claims, Bullock and Reeves have always maintained that they are just friends.
