A social media user identified as @BodaGiggle joins DMW artiste Davido to throw jibes at the recent violent protests in Benin city, Edo State which saw many prisoners regain their freedom unlawfully. Reports claim that the protesters staged a jailbreak, freeing so many inmates and attacking policemen.
Davido tweeted his observations stating that the jailbreak is a scripted attempt by the state’s authorities to sabotage the ongoing protests all over the country for police reforms. The sabotaging efforts was geared towards painting the protesters black and passing them off as terrorists.
Boda Giggle replying to the FEM crooner’s tweet deduced the jailbreak as a screenplay, encouraging Nigerians to sit back and watch as the movie plays itself out.
Edo State government has currently imposed a curfew to curtail the activities of the protesters. Some videos captured at the scene shows inmates fleeing from the prison yard after a brutal attack on the wardens with external assistance from suspected protesters turned thugs.
