Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently in self-quarantine amid the spread of the new coronavirus in the country, according to his spokesman Laolu Akande in a tweet.
In a Twitter post, Akande said the Vice President has been “conducting his meetings via video conferencing while observing social distance.”
However, Osinbajo is not leaving anything to chance as he has decided to self-isolate to avoid spreading the virus in the event that he too might have contracted it.
Earlier today, Roundnews24 report of President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief of Staff, tested positive to the deadly virus ‘Covid-19’.
It is still not clear how Kyari contracted the virus, although suspicion is tied to his recent trip to Germany where he went with Sale Mamman, minister of power, to discuss power projects with Siemens.
Ade Ipaye, the deputy chief of staff who works with the vice-president, is also in isolation, reports TheCable.
