Empire Mates Entertainment Boss Banky W had called for the resignation of Mr. Mohammed Adamu as Inspector General of Police in Nigeria over mismanagement and lack of responsibility issues.
Mr. Bankole Wellington advised Nigerians that the expected reforms on the police force cannot be achieved if the current IG is still in office, stating that Mr. Adamu’s lack of accountability is the reason for the deterioration of the police under his watch.
Citing an illustration, Banky W explained that every company fires an incompetent CEO if found guilty of mismanagement and eventual bankruptcy. Therefore the removal of Mr. Adamu as Inspector General is an ideal step to take in the quest for police reforms.
