Nigeria on Wednesday registered 460 COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally of infected patients to 30,249 on Wednesday. The virus claimed the lives of 15 more people, which pushed the death toll in the state to 684.

In the latest NCDC update via its twitter handle, Lagos which is the worst affected state in the country recorded 150 fresh cases followed by River with 49 cases, while Oyo with 43 cases.
Also announced by NCDC is Delta with 38, The federal capital Territory(FCT) with 26 cases, Anambra with 20, Kano with 20, Plateau with 18, Edo with 14, Bayelsa with 13, Enugu with 13, Osun with 12, Kwara with 10, Borno with Eight, Ogun with Seven, Kaduna with Six, Imo with four, Bauchi and Gombe recorded three each while Niger and Adamawa registered Two and One respectively.
As many as 12,373 patients recovered from the infection and were discharged from hospitals across the country including 265 discharge on Wednesday. Active cases in Nigeria now stand at 17,192.
