Nigeria reported 533 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, a decrease of 221 when compared with the 754 cases recorded on Thursday.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ten states and the FCT recorded 533 COVID-19 infections, it also stated that no COVID-19 death was recorded
Among all the states, Lagos reported the highest Covid-19 cases at 428, followed by FCT with 45 cases, Rivers with 33 cases, Edo with 9 cases, and Ogun State with 8 cases.
It added that Oyo State recorded three cases while Delta and Kaduna State recorded two cases each, and Gombe, Jigawa, and Kano had one case each.
This brings the country’s cumulative caseload to 216,451. Total recoveries were at 207,661 across the country. A total of 42 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. Nigeria’s active caseload stands at 5,799.
