Few weeks after the Nationwide protests for the termination of Special Anti Robbery Squad, Nigerian legal practitioner Kenechukwu Okeke has filed a lawsuit against the celebrities who took part in the protests.
Mr. Kenechukwu Okeke headed to court to demand legal actions against the top Nigerian entertainers for alleged violation of human rights as well as wanton destruction of properties. The self acclaimed Human rights activist penned down a list of 50 names whom he called up to defend the cases.
While most of the accused ignored the seemingly attention seeking noise peddler, some of the celebrities expressed their displeasure and reacted in disgust over the lawyer’s claims.
Popular Nigerian comedian AY Makun took things a bit far and poured out vile words on the accuser. He extended the insults generously to Kenechukwu Okeke’s parents regretting why his father was careless enough not to avoid his birth.
Sam Adeyemi was in no mood to conceal the grandiloquent side of him in his own reaction. He vented out his disdain for the lawyer’s lawsuit and described it as “frivolous”.
Another of the accused, F.K Abudu pointed fingers at the government, claiming they’re responsible for sabotaging the efforts of it’s citizens in demanding for freedom of oppression from members of SARS.
Innocent Idibia (Tuface) finds the whole scenario funny, the Nigerian most respected musician branded Mr. Kenechukwu an upcoming comedian.
Falz the Bahd guy has long since buried the comic side that endeared him to many. The rapper summarized the scenario as a “desperate and stupid moves” which are being carried out by some interest groups against the promoters of #EndSars campaign.
All the other accused celebrities are yet to make their comments. Or might have probably chosen to give him the fools reply (silence). Surprisingly, even no nonsense Davido may have replied with the title of his recent hit song “FEM 🤫”
