Coronavirus cases in Nigeria now stand at 1728 including 51 deaths and 307 recovered, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), On Wednesday Evening.
At least 196 new cases and 7 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours till Thursday. Lagos state continued to remain on the top with 931 cases and 21 deaths. the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja was second with 174 confirmed cases of the virus, followed by Kano, Ogun, Gombe, and Osun.
NCDC New update shows Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 87 followed by kano with 24 infections.
Gombe recorded 18 new cases, while Kaduna recorded 17 new cases, followed by FCT with 16 new cases, Katsina confirmed 10 new cases.
Sokoto state confirmed 8 new cases and Edo comes with 7, followed by Borno with 6 new cases and Yobe, Ebonyi, Adamawa all shared Three.
However, Nigeria manage to discharge 52 patient within 24 hours the highest so far since the outbreak.
