Nigerian gospel music icon Frank Edwards had made an offer to provide medical assistance to protesters who sustained injuries during the protests.
Reports from social media indicate that some youths fell victims to stray bullets from policemen even after an order from the Police IG to disband the Special anti Robbery Squad (SARS) unit. Some protesters are being held hostage and negotiations are being made to secure their release.
Frank Edwards joins the list of celebrities who has taken part in the agitation to eliminate the most deadliest menace claiming the lives of Nigerian youths in alarming numbers. The CEO of Rocktown records offered to take responsibility for the treatment of protesters who got injured during the protests.
“I know how tough it is for most families, so I am willing to support with hospital bills for some youths injured during the peaceful protest, all you need is valid proof and I will only pay to the hospital”
