South African, Zozibini Tunzi wins miss universe

From winning miss South Africa, bearly a month ago, Zozibini Tunzi, has also been crown miss universe 2019.

The prestigious event was held at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, USA on Sunday the 8th of December 2019, with initial 90 contestants that was later narrowed down to 20 semifinalists during a closed-door competition prior to Sunday’s three-hour live TV event.

Zozibini wowed the judges with her natural stage presence and winning smile as well as her proudly South African fashions.

The 26-year-old is the third South African to be crowned miss universe; the first being Margaret Gardiner in 1978 and the second being Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in 2017.
