Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has slammed his side for their disappointing performance against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The French international midfielder claimed that his side was conceding “easy goals and stupid goals” in a performance that would have rung plenty of alarm bells.
Mason Greenwood’s stunner put Red devils ahead, only for Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu both found the target to turn the game on its head.
Marcus Rashford leveled the score for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side but the home side hit back through late goals from Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka to claim a deserved 4-2 victory.
That left Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba frustrated with his team’s performance told reporters after the match:
“We’ve had these kinds of games for a long time. We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals; we need to be more mature, play with more experience and arrogance in a good way. We need to find something, we need to change.”
Manchester United’s defeat to Leicester City was their second of the season in the Premier League. United have won two, lost two, and drawn one of their last five games in the league.
