JOB TITLE:Logistics Manager????
LOCATION:VI, Lagos
Our client in the fmcg industry is seeking for a competent logistics manager, he/she will be responsible for driving and implementing Quality Systems (ISO) in the operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead and manage multiple/vertical business complexities.
• To be single point contact for all issues related to transportation/tracking and follow-ups.
•Manage freight receipts, insurance claims processing and MIS Management.
•Reduction of TTAT
•Daily co-ordination of plant and warehouse on loading and unloading of materials
•Renewals of contracts, vehicle permits, vehicle and driver licence
•Freight spent analysis and tracking against target.
•Monthly re-conciliation with Finance on expenses booking versus provisions
•Auditing financial/ cost bookings
•Surfacing anomaly in financial bookings
•Monthly re-conciliation with Customers
•Truck efficiency and fuel tracking
•Creates an atmosphere that facilitates free flow of information
REQUIREMENTS:
•B.sc in any related field
•4-7 years of experience as a logistics manager in an FMCG Industry
•Must Possess technical skills(automobiles)
•Good communication, leadership and coordinating skills.
