Barcelona FC of Spain on Saturday night, December 7, continued with their impressive performance this season in La Liga by demolishing visiting Mallorca 5-2 in Camp Nou.
The Spanish Champions started the match impressively and it took them only seven minutes to score the first goal through Former Athletico man, Antoine Griezmann.
Six time Balloon D’or winner,Lionel Messi scored the second goal in the 17th minute after receiving an assist from France international Antoine Griezmann.
The visitors however pulled one back in the 35th minute through Ante Budimir who got an assist from Salva Sevilla.
Lionel Messi increased the scoreline for Barcelona in the 41st minute and it was Ivan Rakitic who provided the assist.
Two minutes later, it was the turn of Luis Suarez to find the back of the net after benefiting from a superb pass by Frendie De Jong.
Ante Budimir scored another goal for Mallorca in the 64th minute, but Lionel Messi’s late minute goal made sure Barcelona won the match 5-2.
The win took Barcelona to the summit of the La liga table with goal difference separating them with rival Real Madrid who earlier won the game with two goals.
