Jurgen Klopp’s side got off to a flying start as Luis Diaz nodded home his second goal of the season from Roberto Firmino’s cross.
Harvey Elliot opened his score for the season with a stunning effort from the edge of the box in the sixth minute, doubling the advantage.
Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a third goal with a brilliant shot from distance in the first half before Firmino and Virgil van Dijk made it 5-0 before the break.

The Reds added a sixth goal a minute after the interval when Chris Mepham diverted Trent Alexander-cross Arnold’s into his own net before Firmino completed his brace just after the hour mark.
Liverpool’s young midfielder Fabio Carvalho sealed the victory in the 80th minute with a fantastic first-time volley, before Diaz completed his hat trick four minutes later with a nice header.
